Empowerment of Women through Training and Awareness Programs
- 1800+ women empowered through leadership, entrepreneurship, and livelihood skills training, enabling them to gain confidence and self-reliance
- 300 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) established to provide financial independence and mutual support for women in rural areas
Awareness Programs for Independent Women
- Conducted awareness sessions to support women in managing mental stress and mental health challenges
- Educated women on the Domestic Violence Act, empowering them to seek help and access resources available through Family Counseling Centers
Vocational Training for Women
- Organized skill-building workshops in beauty parlour services, sewing, and creating homemade products, helping women develop sustainable livelihood skills
- Created Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to encourage women’s financial independence and provide collective support for business initiatives
Outcomes
- Over 1800 women from underprivileged and tribal communities have started to improve their economic and social status by acquiring livelihood opportunities through training
- Over 5000 women and their families are becoming capable of achieving financial self-reliance
- With the guidance of the family counseling center, family conflicts have reduced, and progress towards gender equality is becoming evident

Women Empowerment (2023-24):
Objective — To promote financial literacy and self-employment among tribal women.

Objectives
- To empower rural and tribal women economically
- To provide women with self-employment and a source of regular income
- To enhance women’s skills, confidence, and decision-making abilities
- To create sustainable livelihoods based on local resources
- To increase women’s participation at the family and community levels
Key Activities
- 180 needy women were identified, and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) / women’s groups were formed
- Goat farming training: goat selection, feed, health, vaccination; breeding and market information
- Poultry farming training: improved breeds, feed, disease management; egg production and sales
- Tailoring training: sewing machine usage; sewing, repairing clothes, and taking orders
- Practical and hands-on training
- Initial equipment/input assistance
- Bank, scheme, and market linkages
- Regular follow-up and guidance
